The controller for data processing on this website is the service provider named in the legal notice. For data protection enquiries you can reach us using the contact details given there.

This website is hosted by a service provider that collects server log files: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and trouble-free operation). This data is deleted after 30 days at the latest.

When you make a booking we process your first and last name, email address, telephone number and the requested rental period. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures and performance of the rental agreement). Without this information we cannot conclude a rental agreement.

Our vehicles are fitted with a satellite-based tracking system. Location and time data of the vehicle are processed. The purpose is protection against theft, recovery of the vehicle and enforcement of legitimate claims in the event of damage. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in protecting high-value rental vehicles against theft and misuse. No ongoing analysis of driving behaviour and no movement profiles for other purposes are carried out. Location data are stored for fourteen days and then deleted, unless they remain necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Under Art. 21 GDPR you have the right to object to this processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.

Booking data is stored for the duration of the contractual relationship and then archived for up to ten years in accordance with commercial and tax retention periods (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB). Enquiries via the contact form are deleted once they have been conclusively dealt with.

We use an email service provider to send booking confirmations. Your email address and the content of the confirmation are processed in the course of this. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

If you sign up to be notified about an upcoming car, we store your email address for that purpose only. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent). You may withdraw your consent informally at any time; we will then delete the address without delay.

This website does not use tracking or marketing cookies. The only cookie set is a technically necessary one storing your language preference. It is exempt from consent pursuant to § 25 (2) TDDDG.

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and a right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You may withdraw consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data. The competent authority for our registered office in Bavaria is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach.
